Honda is Japanese motorsport royalty — expect a sea of orange Honda fan gear in the grandstands. The Japanese Grand Prix atmosphere is unlike any other race on the calendar.
Cherry blossom season
Early April is peak sakura season in much of Japan. Suzuka and Nagoya are typically at peak bloom during race weekend — a stunning backdrop to the race.
Cash is still king in Japan
Despite improvements, many restaurants, taxis, and small vendors in Japan only accept cash. Withdraw yen at a 7-Eleven ATM (accepts foreign cards) before heading to the circuit.
